Invalid Friction is when a ground in a map has an invalid amount of friction, such as lol, -1, roflmao. IF objects greatly affect mice and many of the shaman's objects. Here's my guide to help you utilize this exploit in a useful and awesome way while map making!

Basics - How to make Invalid Friction Grounds

In the Map Editor, select any ground from the interface and put it on the stage. Once you have done that, try memorizing its coordinates. (e.g. 99,99) Then navigate to the Save/Load/Test option from the menu and click Copy menu to clipboard. This will copy the stage's XML code to the clipboard, allowing you to paste it into the field and modify the code. Paste it into the field, then click Load. It will load the code. Navigate to the where it says X=[insert x of ground to be IF] and Y=[insert y of ground to be IF]. An example is my ground is 243,238. I navigate the code until I see X=243 and Y=238. Once you have gotten to the ground, go to where it says P=. It should say a list of 8 numbers. The third one from the left is the friction. Insert a negative integer or letter and click load! Use selector to doublecheck that the ground is IF. (e.g. ground friction is lol, lmfao, -9001)

Properties - Warp, Phase, SpringBoard

IF when touched by any object will warp that object to the coordinates (0,0). It will also cause the gravity to increase to the point where mice and other objects will phase through any ground when an object touches ground. However, mice or objects will not phase through B-planks. Also, jump height is not affected after being phased.

A delayed springboard can be made in the editor. First make a fully pinned board, then put some ground above it. The ground must be very close to the board, or else the springboard will not work.

Tips - Great Ways!

Divide the map horizontally, then place an obstacle that will activate IF ground. On the bottom part, place B-planks. Revise to your heart's content and you have a mind-boggling but creative map!. Also, put IF grounds under cheese. Then, put the mousehole near (0,0). When a mouse jumps to get cheese, he/she may land on the IF grounds and get warped instantly to the mousehole, which may get rid of most trolls!

The red ground is the IF ground. Once the IF ground is activated, you will phase through the ground you are on. Obtain the cheese.Spirit yourself across the ground that phased the anvils through or else you will be sucked in. Then, stand on the springboard and wait until it launches you into the air. Get into the mouse hole.
