Does anyone play Starcraft? The first one. I found my cousins cd key and let me have it. I just started today. Very Happy I wouldn't dare go online...

I've heard of it, but I've never played Starcraft. I don't even have any idea what the game play is like.

Imagine what you would face if you went online whilst just beginning to play StarCraft...

'KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE' amidst endless Zerg rushes...

Have it. But it's an unwritten law that I'm to suck at RTS games for the rest of my life. No seriously though, I suck at any RTS game I try.

And just thought I'd throw this out there... If you buy Starcraft II then you're the cancer killing the video game industry. (Note this isn't directed at any certain person ._.) But seriously, anyone who buys it should never touch a video game again.

I could explain why, but it'd probably be pointless. Mad

Why do you believe that StarCraft II is part of the cancer that is killing the video game industry?

Let's see.

What Starcraft 2 doesn't have:

No LAN
No chatrooms

(There's other things that SC had but I can't remember specifics)

What Starcraft 2 does have:

Flashy graphics
Facebook connection (or whatever)

WOOP DEE FRICKEN DOO.

60-80 dollars in most places to purchase, and guess what? THERE'S 2 MORE EXPANSIONS COMING OUT FOR THE SAME PRICE OR HIGHER. It's already stated that people will be paying well over $200 in the end of it all, and all the good things that made Starcraft special have been taken out.

But that's just how Blizzard and ACTIVISION roll. "Give us your money then eat the trash we throw at you."

I don't like to insult Blizzard because they make good games, they really do. But god damn they're so money hungry. But then they go and team up with Activision. Kotick is probably the most hated person in the video game industry and he deserves it. "Oh hey, let's make a game and put it out for $69.99 retail price... But wait.. I got a perfect idea! LET'S SELL SOME DLC FOR $20 A POP AS WELL, BRILLIANT."

Now guess what the customers do? What else? They purchase that crap on the spot without even thinking.

This is the cancer that is killing the video game industry.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

No, but seriously I can see where you're coming from and I do agree with you.

Well considering anyone who is buying Starcraft 2 is only purchasing 1/3 of a game. Yes, you could say that.
